Back to the Future Event Celebrates LLoyd’s 42 Years of Excellence

It’s a LLoyd “Love Fest” with employees donning 1971 attire to celebrate the company’s 42nd Anniverary!
LLoyd first opened its doors in 42 years ago. Founded in 1971, by Merrill Banks, a certified staffing professional (CSP), Mr. Banks continues to serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Today, second generation leadership is in place, with Keith Banks, CSP, as President, and Jason Banks, CSP, serving as Executive Vice President. From Left: Keith Banks, Jason Banks and Merrill Banks

LLoyd is Long Island’s largest, privately held staffing firm and has been answering the needs of employers and the workforce for four decades. It has twice earned First Place in “Best Of Long Island” by Long Island Press readers who cast their votes online over a 3-month period. This competition is the largest business awards program in Long Island history.

LLoyd is proud of the company’s commitment to the community and one of its core values is to promote a culture of learning, growth and social responsibility. Recently, the firm chose to support the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless in their back-to-school drive for needy children. LLoyd is the recipient of the American Staffing Association’s CARE Award which recognizes outstanding corporate social responsibility initiatives among ASA’s 15,000+ membership base.

The Drive coincided with LLoyd’s Company-wide Anniversary Celebration in which staff members were invited to go “Back to the Future” with a groovy 1971 party and employees came dressed as though they had gone back in time. It’s been 42 years, but the service, quality and work ethic haven’t changed and LLoyd continues to set the bar high in meeting the company mission: To excel at identifying, representing and connecting workforce talent.
